Google DeepMind says AI agents found two new attacks on 1024-bit RSA

Google DeepMind says its AI agents found two new attacks on 1024-bit RSA. It estimates that the first, which forges signatures when an attacker controls only a small part of the signed data, is about 1,600 times faster than the previous best. The second is described as making bulk cracking of 1024-bit keys about 30 times cheaper per additional key. The findings do not break RSA-2048.
