Moldova’s Sandu announces launch of Vulcănești–Chișinău power line
Moldovan President Maia Sandu announced the launch of the Vulcănești–Chișinău transmission line, connecting Moldova to Romania and the European electricity grid. She said Moldova had completely stopped buying Russian natural gas and that two more transmission lines connecting to Romania were being developed, declaring that Moscow’s use of energy pressure was over.
