Hakeem Jeffries backs impeachment of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth
House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries said Sunday he was a “hard yes” on impeaching Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and would discuss the issue with fellow Democrats on Tuesday. Rep. Thomas Massie, who is leading the effort, said he plans to introduce a resolution as early as Monday calling for an impeachment vote. Hegseth has denounced the resolution as a “sham.”
