Eisenkot says he will seek to form an Israeli national emergency government
Gadi Eisenkot, who has been tasked with forming an Israeli government, says he will use his mandate to lead the formation of a national emergency government. He says Israel cannot afford prolonged delays or another round of elections and expresses confidence that a new government can be formed swiftly with a substantial Knesset majority.
