President Herzog tasks Gadi Eisenkot with forming Israel's government
President Herzog announced that he had decided to task Gadi Eisenkot with forming Israel's government. Herzog acknowledged that Likud was the largest faction in the incoming Knesset and said he had also noted that fact during consultations.
