Property-registration spokesman announces two-year window for ownership claims
The national deeds and property registration organization's spokesman said holders of informal documents claiming ownership of properties with cadastral deeds issued from Iranian year 1396 onward have until 1 Khordad 1407 to register their claims. The spokesman said the system established under Article 10 of the law requiring formal registration of real-estate transactions began operating on 1 Khordad 1405.
