Iran's military dismisses U.S. Iron Gate plan targeting ground shipping routes
Iran's military dismissed a new U.S. task force aimed at disrupting Iranian ground shipping routes as “wordplay.” Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesman Mohebbi said Iran had made preparations and was communicating closely with neighbouring countries. He claimed the Iron Gate plan could not achieve U.S. objectives of imposing severe economic pressure to cause Iran's economic collapse.
