Judiciary spokesperson outlines goals and claimed benefits of property-registration law
Judiciary spokesperson Kazemi said the law requiring official registration of real-estate transactions aims to reduce property disputes, protect people’s rights and combat corruption and money laundering. He identified three main achievements: strengthening official documents’ validity, simplifying and accelerating transactions through online inquiries, and removing obstacles to issuing property deeds, including for agricultural land.
