Iran’s IRGC warns vessels violating its Strait of Hormuz rules of drifting-mine risks
A spokesperson for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned that vessels violating its rules in the Strait of Hormuz risked encountering drifting mines. The spokesperson claimed the waterway was entirely under the IRGC Navy’s control and said noncompliant vessels would face consequences comparable to striking a drifting mine.
