Land registry chief says 12 million green property deeds have been issued
The head of the national Organization for Registration of Deeds and Properties said 12 million green property deeds have been issued. Explaining the law requiring formal registration of real-estate transactions, the official said preliminary sale agreements and informal transfers are not accepted for green deeds, while other deeds face no such restriction at this stage of implementation.
