Iraqi integrity commission says former MP given one-year sentence for illicit enrichment
Iraq’s Integrity Commission said a former member of parliament was sentenced to one year in prison on a charge of illicit enrichment. The former MP was also ordered to repay funds and pay fines totaling more than 5 billion Iraqi dinars.
