Iran removes government share of VAT on high-octane gasoline imports for year 1405
Iranian customs announced in a circular to customs offices nationwide that the government’s share of value-added tax on high-octane gasoline imports is zero for Iranian calendar year 1405. These imports are exempt from five-ninths of VAT, while the remaining four-ninths allocated to municipalities, rural administrations and villages without rural administrations must still be collected.
