Tehran refinery says electrical and technical problems caused flare smoke, denies fire
Tehran Oil Refinery’s public relations office said thick smoke from its flare resulted from electrical and technical problems and the activation of flare systems in line with safety procedures. It said no fire had occurred in the refinery’s processing units.
