Tavanir chief says winter cold and wartime conditions have worsened power-plant fuel shortages
Tavanir’s chief executive, Allahdad, said winter fuel and gas shortages predated the war because of high household consumption and insufficient fuel supplies to power plants, but recent events had intensified the imbalance. He said electricity-grid stability depends directly on liquid-fuel reserves at power plants, whose management is reviewed daily by the government and Energy Ministry.
