Jeonnam-Gwangju plans 3.94 million-square-metre semiconductor gateway development
Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City plans a 3.94 million-square-metre development linking Gwangju Songjeong Station, the Kumho Tire factory relocation site and the military airport relocation site. The project would combine transport improvements, semiconductor-supporting industry and old-town regeneration. The project period is 2026–2030, with an integrated master plan scheduled for 2027 to detail phased development and determine investment priorities.
