Judge proposes Jessie Liu to investigate administration’s conduct in Trump golf course case
Federal Judge Ana C. Reyes said she intended to appoint former U.S. attorney Jessie K. Liu as a special master to investigate the government’s conduct in litigation over President Trump’s plans to remake East Potomac Golf Links in Washington. The proposed appointment follows scrutiny of whether officials concealed renovation plans despite court orders requiring advance notice of significant changes. Reyes gave the Justice Department until the following Friday morning to object to her selection.
