Herzog announces Eisenkot will be tasked with forming Israel’s next government
Israeli President Isaac Herzog has concluded consultations with political parties and announced that he will task Gadi Eisenkot with forming the next government. Eisenkot will have 28 days starting tomorrow to reach an agreement with parties on forming a cabinet, with a possible 14-day extension.
