Iran’s industry minister says central bank committed 400 trillion tomans in new SME loans
Iran’s Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Seyyed Mohammad Atabak said the central bank had committed to provide an additional 400 trillion tomans in loans for small and medium-sized enterprises. Speaking at a meeting with entrepreneurs and business representatives in Ardabil province, he said reviews showed that a substantial share of loans under an earlier SME support package had gone to large enterprises.
