Musk says Tesla will add Cybertruck shift before planned line dismantling for Cybercab expansion
Elon Musk said Tesla will add an extra shift to try to complete Cybertruck orders before the production line is dismantled for Cybercab expansion around June or July 2027. He said the current order backlog far exceeds what Tesla can build before that planned change.
