Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni blamed pro-Russian hackers for a cyberattack on Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and called the sale of confidential information about government officials a grave concern. Tajani said hackers had published his personal information on the dark web and linked the targeting to Italy’s position on Ukraine. Officials close to him said cybersecurity monitoring had detected his details alongside threats and attempts to obtain more information about him and his family.
