Iran’s envoy says dedicated Russian gas pipeline targeted for construction within 2–3 years
Iran’s ambassador to Russia, Jalali, said a dedicated gas pipeline with total capacity of 110 billion cubic meters, including 55 billion in its first phase, is targeted for construction within two to three years. He said the project’s outline had received approval at a trilateral presidential meeting, with finalization of the pricing formula remaining before contract implementation. A gas swap through Azerbaijan is also under discussion as the fastest implementation route.
