Energy official expects bilateral electricity trading share to rise to twice its current level
Mostafa Rajabi, deputy energy minister for electricity and energy, said bilateral contracts outside the wholesale electricity market currently account for about 42% of transactions. He said implementation of Article 43 of the Seventh Development Plan would increase that share to as much as twice its current level.
