CENTCOM announces Task Force Iron Gate to target Iranian supply routes
U.S. Central Command announced that Adm. Brad Cooper directed the formation of Task Force Iron Gate, a roughly 20-person civilian and military team based in Tampa, Florida. The team will coordinate with other U.S. government agencies to prevent the movement of advanced weapons, dual-use technologies, sanctioned materials and illegal revenue streams across Iran's land borders and the Caspian Sea.
