Iran’s Araghchi says he held calls with 12 foreign ministers over past 48 hours
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said he held separate telephone calls with 12 counterparts over the past 48 hours to discuss regional and international developments and what he described as destabilizing actions by the United States and Israel. He said he emphasized respect for national sovereignty, an end to aggression and threats, and regional responsibility for preventing insecurity from spreading. He also stressed Iran’s right to defend its sovereignty and national security and called for regional security arrangements without outside-power interference.
