Democrats plan probe of incoming White House chief of staff Stephen Miller
Democratic Representative Robert Garcia said he plans to investigate Stephen Miller’s role in hard-line immigration enforcement following President Donald Trump’s selection of Miller as White House chief of staff. Garcia, who is expected to chair the House Oversight Committee in the next Congress, accused Miller of designing unconstitutional immigration raids. Democratic congressional leaders Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer also condemned the appointment.
