ACER says European grid investment rose 155% on average from 2019 to 2025
Annual grid investment increased in 22 of 24 European countries reviewed between 2019 and 2025, averaging a 155% rise, ACER said in a report released Friday. Looking ahead, 15 of 18 countries surveyed estimate higher investment in 2030 than in 2025, averaging a 134% increase. ACER cautioned that these projections face repeated delays and rescheduling of transmission projects.
