Iranian parliamentary security chairman says doctrine centers on deterrence
Ebrahim Azizi, chairman of Iran’s parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said the country’s new doctrine centers on deterrence and making the enemy regret its actions. He said the armed forces had received orders to use all offensive and defensive capabilities without reservation and asserted that Iran was fully prepared for any scenario or miscalculated action by an enemy.
