GE Aerospace announces record deals worth more than $12.9 billion at Shanghai expo
GE Aerospace said it signed sales and service agreements worth more than $12.9 billion at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, a company record for the annual show. The deals include China Eastern Airlines' purchase of 202 LEAP-1A engines for 101 newly ordered Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, with spare engines and long-term service support. GE also announced a separate agreement for 14 spare engines with the airline, which had made no immediate announcement about the agreements.
