U.S. October payrolls rise 165,000; unemployment rate at 4.1%
U.S. nonfarm payrolls rose by 165,000 in October, and the unemployment rate was 4.1%, compared with an estimate of 4.2%. Net revisions to payroll figures for the previous two months added 84,000 jobs.
