US adds 165,000 jobs in October, above 59,000 expected
US nonfarm payrolls rose by 165,000 in October, compared with expectations for 59,000, while unemployment was 4.1% versus 4.2% expected. Private payrolls increased by 159,000, and wages grew 0.37% monthly and 3.12% annually. September payroll growth was revised to 60,000.
