Blue Dart Express quarterly profit rises 27.7% to 1.04 billion rupees
India's Blue Dart Express announced a 27.7% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to 1.04 billion rupees ($11.05 million) for the quarter ended September 30. Revenue from operations increased 14.5% to 17.74 billion rupees, while total expenses rose 14% to 16.52 billion rupees. The company attributed its performance to an improved product mix, better yield realisation and service optimisation, supported by unit cost efficiency.
