Gland Pharma quarterly profit jumps 58.3%, beating estimates
India's Gland Pharma reported a 58.3% year-on-year rise in second-quarter consolidated net profit to 2.91 billion rupees, exceeding analysts' average estimate of 2.75 billion rupees. Revenue rose 23.3% to 18.34 billion rupees, also above estimates. For the quarter ended September 30, US sales increased 42%, while European sales grew 30%.
