Ali Bagheri says Iran needs practical U.S. steps before a new diplomatic opening
Ali Bagheri, deputy secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said Iran would no longer settle for U.S. commitments on paper before entering a new phase of diplomacy. He said Iran must first see practical U.S. actions and accused the United States of derailing all four rounds of talks over the past year and a half by breaking its commitments.
