Elon Musk says Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at its Texas factory in 2027 to make room for more self-driving Cybercab cars. He did not clarify whether Cybertruck production would stop entirely or move elsewhere. Project lead engineer Wes Morrill appeared to suggest the vehicle was being discontinued, writing that it “lives on through Cybercab.”
