Rohto Pharmaceutical discloses data breach affecting nearly 2.8 million customers
Rohto Pharmaceutical announced on November 6 that unauthorized access to a telephone system used for mail-order sales exposed personal information belonging to 2,797,545 customers. The leaked information included names, addresses and telephone numbers stored in a customer management system. Credit-card information for 9,715 people, contained in recorded calls, was also exposed.
