KDDI first-half net profit rises 1% to ¥363.2 billion, below market expectations
KDDI announced net profit of ¥363.2 billion for April–September 2026, up 1% year on year but below the QUICK consensus of ¥385.8 billion. Mobile tariff increases and growth in corporate AI and cybersecurity businesses contributed to the results. Revenue rose 5% to ¥3.0528 trillion and operating profit increased 1% to ¥559.2 billion. The company left its outlook for the fiscal year ending March 2027 unchanged.
