Shiseido discloses leak of 2,515 personal information records from skin-measurement service
Shiseido announced that unauthorized access to a system used for its skin-measurement services exposed 2,515 personal information records, including names, email addresses, questionnaire data and skin-measurement results. The company detected the unauthorized access on October 27 and suspended some related services, with no restart date set. Facial photographs were not leaked. Shiseido is investigating the cause and scope with external specialists and has notified the Personal Information Protection Commission.
