Hiroshima Gas posts ¥506 million first-half net loss as LNG costs rise
Hiroshima Gas announced a consolidated net loss of ¥506 million for April–September 2026, compared with a ¥325 million profit a year earlier, as higher LNG prices widened losses from delays in passing fuel costs through to gas tariffs. Revenue rose 6% to ¥42.662 billion. The company maintained its forecast for the year ending March 2027, projecting revenue of ¥92 billion and net profit of ¥2.2 billion.
