JERA and ENEOS Power plan joint venture for Sodegaura power plant replacement
JERA announced a partnership with ENEOS Power to build and operate replacement units 1 and 2 at the Sodegaura thermal power plant in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. The companies plan to establish a joint venture during fiscal 2026, with JERA holding 66% and ENEOS Power 34%. JERA plans to bring the new units into operation in 2032–33.
