Former JR Kyushu headquarters in Kitakyushu to become hotel in ¥6 billion project
Kitakyushu city, Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate and partners announced plans to convert the historic former JR Kyushu headquarters near Mojiko Station into a hotel, scheduled to open in 2030. The investment is approximately ¥6 billion. A four-company consortium will preserve and reuse the building’s retro exterior and architectural details.
