Yangtze Memory targets at least 60% Chinese-made equipment at new factory, Reuters reports
Reuters, citing people familiar with the matter, reports that Yangtze Memory aims to use at least 60% domestically made equipment at a new factory, with a goal of reaching 70%. Its fourth factory is due to begin construction in Wuhan next year. Sources said its third, fourth and fifth factories are each expected to process about 100,000 silicon wafers monthly once fully operational, together more than doubling the company's manufacturing capacity.
