Philippine envoy expects Democrat-led US Congress to sustain military aid
Philippine ambassador to the US Jose Manuel Romualdez said he expects a Democrat-led US Congress to continue supporting US funding for the Philippines’ military modernization. Citing support from both parties, he expressed confidence that Washington’s stance toward its military alliance with the Philippines would not change significantly.
