HD Korea Shipbuilding announces 630.1 billion won order for four ammonia carriers
HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering said on November 6 that it had recently signed a contract with an African shipping company for four very large ammonia carriers worth 630.1 billion won. HD Hyundai Heavy Industries will build the vessels, with delivery scheduled by the first half of 2030. Including this contract, the company reported annual orders of $21.2 billion for 193 vessels, reaching 91% of its $23.31 billion annual target.
