Daesang ships first lysine exports to Brazil, targets $2 million in 2027 sales

South Korea’s agriculture ministry said Daesang shipped its first Brazil-bound consignment of about 20 tonnes of feed-grade lysine from Gunsan on November 6, after securing Brazilian regulatory approval. Daesang plans to export about 1,200 tonnes to Brazil in 2027, targeting $2 million in sales. The ministry said it supported the approval process by submitting manufacturing-facility registration documents and holding video meetings with Brazilian regulators.
