IREN attributes delay in $9.7 billion Microsoft data-center project to requested networking changes
IREN said Microsoft-requested networking equipment changes delayed its data-center project in Childress, Texas, which it is building under a $9.7 billion contract. The company now expects to reach $4 billion in operating annual recurring revenue by January or February, rather than year-end. Co-CEO Daniel Roberts said the data centers were practically complete and awaiting remaining equipment to finish commissioning.
