Qantas raises first-half fuel bill forecast to A$3.75 billion
Qantas said it expects a fiscal first-half fuel bill of about A$3.75 billion, up from its August forecast of A$3.6 billion amid elevated oil prices. The airline said it would continue adjusting fares and capacity in response to higher fuel costs and is about 85% hedged for the full fiscal year. It maintained its forecast for domestic and international total unit revenue growth of 8–10% in the six months through December.
