LIV Golf announces planned wind-down after failing to secure investor agreement

LIV Golf said on November 6, Korean time, that it planned an orderly wind-down after failing to reach a final agreement with investors on a new business model through U.S. Chapter 11 proceedings. Its lawyer, Matthew Williams, told a bankruptcy court in Trenton, New Jersey, that the proposed “LIV 2.0” plan was no longer being pursued and that financial backing and player support had not been secured.
