Brazil's energy minister reports first meeting of critical minerals industrialization council
Brazilian Energy Minister Alexandre Silveira said the National Council for Industrialization of Critical and Strategic Minerals held its first meeting. He described the initiative as part of efforts under President Lula to move Brazil beyond raw-material exports toward domestic industrialization, adding value to minerals and strengthening national sovereignty.
