White House plans to nominate Rebekah Jurata for Treasury role, Bloomberg reports
The White House plans to nominate Rebekah Goshorn Jurata as US Treasury assistant secretary for financial institutions after Luke Pettit left the role in October, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. Her earlier nomination as US executive director at the International Monetary Fund would be withdrawn for the Treasury post, which requires Senate confirmation. The White House and Treasury did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
