Canada’s finance minister said Budget 2026 includes a new Productivity Mega Deduction at the heart of a broad overhaul of business incentives. The minister projected that the changes would expand Canada’s productive capacity over the next 10 years, adding about $22 billion annually to GDP and supporting up to 80,000 jobs.
